Ice Hockey WC 2006
Sweden rejoiced in the end: at the Ice Hockey World Championship in 2006, the Scandinavians finally took back the highly coveted gold medal, after a barren spell lasting seven tournaments. In the Latvian capital of Riga, the team secured a place in the Czech final with 4:0. The match for third place was won by Canada and Finland came fourth.
11,000 spectators in the brand-new arena made the games truly exciting. Those bwin users who won tickets to the mega event from us also got the chance to experience the action.
Perimeter advertising, commercial spots on the video wall and advertising in the official WC magazine – the company demonstrated its enthusiasm for ice hockey all round.
