Ski jumping and bwin: a perfect combination! Not only due to the fact that we always offer a huge selection of bets on the World Cup – we are also at the very forefront as sponsor.
Thus, in the 2005/06 season, bwin put in an appearance as a personal partner to Jakub Janda. A good choice, since the exceptional athlete triumphed in the overall World Cup and in the Four Hills Tournament. Janda's colleagues from the Czech national team were also supported by bwin.
In addition, Olympic Champion Simon Ammann (SUI), team World Champion Martin Höllwarth (AUT) and World Champion, Olympic Champion and overall World Cup winner Martin Schmitt (GER) were already sporting the bwin logo.
But bwin did not only appear on the jumper's equipment. The logo was also on show on the jumps, for example at the Skiflug WC in January 2006, and on various World Cup jumps.
