Bernie Ecclestone wins bwin "Charity Poker" in Kitzbühel

Donation of € 35,000 to "Downhillers for Haiti"

Kitzbühel/Vienna – Bernie Ecclestone won the bwin Charity Poker tournament held in Kitzbühel on January 23rd.

The Formula-1 boss succeeded against prominent players such as, Bernd Schuster, David Coulthard, Franz Klammer, Marc Girardelli, DJ Ötzi und Marco Büchel. The winning pot of € 35,000 was donated to the charitable initiative "Downhillers for Haiti", raised by the downhill racers participating in the Hahnenkamm races.

"I'm very happy that we can help the victims of the earthquake in Haiti. I enjoyed the relaxing as well as thrilling atmosphere of the tournament", said the Formula 1 boss.
